Housing expo for quake hit residents
An expo for people forced to relocate following Christchurch's devastating earthquake will help them make important decisions about their future living arrangements, says the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (CERA).
The expo for people in Christchurch's residential red zone, organised by CERA, will be attended by representatives from government agencies, insurance companies, the Real Estate Institute and architects.
CERA chief executive Roger Sutton said people in the red zone were facing some of the biggest decisions in their lives and needed as much assistance as possible.
"The expo is a chance for them to have a whole range of organisations in the one place that they can talk to and consult as they consider their relocation and property decisions," he said.
The expo named "My Housing Options Expo" will be held at Addington Events Centre this weekend - July 30 and 31.
